digital artworks
My most recent addition to my creative portfolio is creating digital art pieces using Procreate software. I like creating simple concept designs for posters, but I aldo enjoy creating intricate art prints also along with children's illustrations.
UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS (2024)
I aimed to capture the electrifying atmosphere of a UT football game. There's nothing quite like it—the roar of the crowd, the aroma of fresh popcorn, and above all, the unifying spirit of East Tennessee coming together to proudly show our orange pride! This artwork was created by me using Procreate software on an iPad Air. I have the posters professionally printed on 87 lb high gloss cardstock poster paper, and I always perform a quality check before shipping them out personally.
GSMNP CAMPING (2023)
This is one of my first designs I created digitally using Procreate software. I tried to encapsulate the beauty and feel of camping at the Great Smoky Mountains, and how better to do that than with cool toned gradient mountainous terrain? East Tennessee is my home and I am so happy to make an art piece that can be enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.
The Great Smoky Mountains national park (2024)
This is one of my first designs I created digitally using Procreate software. I tried to encapsulate the beauty and feel of the Great Smoky Mountains, and how better to do that than with a mountainous terrain sunset? East Tennessee is my home and I am so happy to make an art piece that can be enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.
Oak Ridge (2024)
This is one of my first designs I created digitally using Procreate software. I tried to encapsulate the beauty and feel of Oak Ridge, and how better to do that than with Melton Lake? I tried to capture the serenity of the walking next to Melton Lake, with the beautiful East Tennessee mountains showing in the background. Oak Ridge is my home and I am so happy to make an art piece that can be enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.
KNOXVILLE (2024)
This is one of my first designs I created digitally using Procreate software. I tried to encapsulate the beauty and feel of Knoxville, and how better to do that than with the Sunsphere? The color scheme of the cityline is intentional, and meant to imitate the Great Smoky Mountains that Knoxville is so close to. Knoxville is my home and I am so happy to make an art piece that can be enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.
acrylic paintings
I have developed a love for painting, specifically on unique surfaces like vinyl records. It all started with scratched records I had collected over the years to hang on my walls as decorative purpose. One day after learning the foundational skills of painting, I wondered if it could be applied to a vinyl record. With some trial and error and technique along the years, I feel confident in my finished products.

embroidery
artworks
My embroidery pieces showcase the fluidity, beauty, and harmony of the natural environment. Needlework is my personal favorite art form because it can not only be enjoyed through sight but by feeling the various textures the art piece has to offer.
Lux in tenebris (2024)
This artwork was done by me personally on a 4 inch bamboo hoop using a variety of over 20 different thread colors. The focus of this piece is fluidity and movement. I tried to capture the subtle beauty of the flames coming from the fire, almost as if it is coming out of the canvas. This elevation of threads that can be seen is from continuous thread layering and buildup, then using a unique loose stitch pattern to imitate the pattern of flames. Towards the edge of the canvas I slowly introduced darker threads to give the immersion of illumination. "Lux in tenebris lucet" means "the light shines in the darkness," and holds a great meaning for me, along with this art piece and my mindset at the time of creation. This is a piece that can be enjoyed not only through sight but by feeling the collection of textures the piece has to offer also. I employed various stitches to introduce diversity, echoing the intricate patterns found in nature.
the sun always rises (2024)

The title represents a hopeful tomorrow. The cool toned mountain ridges are contrasted and placed into the background by the bright rays of the sun, which engulf a majority of the piece. I added an additional waterfall to accent the various textures I am capable of producing.
The koi pond (2024)
This artwork was done by me personally on a 4 inch bamboo hoop using a variety of over thirty different thread colors. The focus of this piece is fluidity and movement. I tried to capture the subtle beauty of the motion of the butterfly koi fish, known for their distinctly long tail, as they wade through the water. I included algae along the edge of the piece to show alternating texture. This is a piece that can be enjoyed not only through sight but by feeling the collection of textures the piece has to offer also. I employed various stitches to introduce diversity, echoing the intricate patterns found in nature.
A Stream With No Seams (2023)
This artwork was made by me personally on a 6 inch bamboo hoop using a variety of over 20 different colors of thread. This piece is one of my favorites in regards to showcasing fluidity using textural artwork. The stream is the main focus of the piece, I chose to accentuate the movement of water by making the thread cascade off the canvas. Other unique features of this piece include the texture of the tree bark and the accentuated loops used to portray leaves. You can either purchase the original artwork pictured, or you can have a replica commissioned for a discounted price.
about me
hello and welcome
I am a fully self taught artist trying to make a career from my passions. I've been creative my whole life, as a child you could always find me in my room filling the walls with my drawings, but things didn't really pick up until I entered my twenties and started acrylic painting. I instantly fell in love, and shortly after I also found my passion for needlework. I wish I could say I've just kept with those two outlets until I perfected them before starting something new, but where would be the fun in that?! It's good to have a variety of creative hobbies, because when one feels draining or boring I can just change to another. Currently, I paint using acrylics on canvases and vinyl records, and I also make textural artworks via hand stitch embroidery. Along with this, I have began to create digital art such as art prints, posters, and children's illustrations using Procreate software.
I grew up less than 10 miles from the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. When I wasn't making art, I was exploring the vast, towering forests outside. This engrained in me a strong love for nature and the natural elements. This mystical wonder of nature has followed me throughout my whole life, and has directly impacted my art style. Whether it's drawing nature from references I took while hiking, or I've created a magical outdoor fantasy scene, there is always some element of nature in my artworks.
I love my home and community that's on the cusp of the Appalachian Mountains. When people see my art, I hope they can see the passion I have for showcasing my hometown in the beautiful way I see it. I would love to work with any local galleries or shops that are interested. I can be contacted either through my email or my Ko-Fi shop. Thank you so much for your interest :) I invite you to follow along on my journey navigating the complexities of the art world. This is only the beginning!
